Original Style Stogies

The name "Stogies" was given to the long, slender cigars that were smoked by 19th Century Conestoga Wagon Drivers. While popular with Wagoneers, Stogies were a sought-after cigar of Union and Confederate Troops during the American Civil War. They are a slender Panatella cigar and we sell them in Natural or Maduro wrappers. They are also sold as a 6-pack sampler: 3 each of Natural and Maduro.

If you are a Civil War re-enactor, these Panatella Cigars are the closest you will find to the Stogies enjoyed by the Troops during the War Between the States. These Stogies are a must-have for your period correct attire. Originally produced in Adams County Pennsylvania by F.X. Smith's Sons in 1863, they are produced for F.X. Smith's Sons today.
